Downtown Rijeka, just before the summer season starts. Croatia at high season (during the summer months) are usually packed with tourists, but just before all hell breaks loose, one can enjoy nice sunny weather - way cooler than summertime though - but actually totally allright for sightseeing and hiking, and while you at it, the density is absolute comfortable on the in general.
